Components of Continuous Mixing Plant
Time:2018-02-22
Generally speaking, a continuous mixing plant is composed of five parts: aggregate system, powder system, water and additive system, delivery mixing and storage system, and control system.

The aggregate system of a continuous mixing plant includes two to four hoppers feeding aggregates to measuring silos. Each hopper further includes a collection hopper, a weighing sensor, a speed reducer, a conveying belt and accessories. The powder system has main silo and assistant silo, the volume of which covers from 100m3 to 300m3. Both silos are equipped with automatic broken arch and powder level indication system. Except for basic parts like storage silos, valves, screw lifter, measuring silo and disc feeder, the powder system for a continuous mixing plant also contains a dust removal system. The water and additive system consists of an additive box, a water tank, a pump station, water and additive weighing hoppers, and pipelines. The delivery mixing and storage system, as its name hints, can be divided into belt conveyors, mixer and mixer frame. During operation of a mixing plant aggregates are sent by the belt conveyor from the dosing machine to the mixer, into which coal ash and cement get from disc feeders and collection screws in the weighing silo. A power supply cabinet, a sensor and a control center constitute the control system of a continuous mixing plant.
